Matteo made his Berlin Fashion Week 2026 debut. Proving AI can command a runway and taking home the Yoona AI Fashion Design Award under FirstSight’s creative direction.

The process begins with digitally modeling Matteo from every angle to ensure character consistency. Once his form is established, multiple viewpoints are developed to clarify facial structure, posture, and visual identity. By studying face, profile, movement, and stillness, we build a reliable digital model capable of conveying narrative and brand meaning. Only after this consistency is achieved can a character become truly expressive.
Matteo is intentionally designed, not randomly generated. His visual attributes are crafted to support both garment presentation and emotional storytelling, with creative direction guiding every AI decision to ensure coherence and credibility. Every detail is considered, linking intention to execution, and creating a believable digital identity.

Once Matteo is perfected, the garments are merged with the digital model. Silhouette, lighting, and material behavior are fine-tuned together to create images that emulate real-life editorial spreads. This approach replaces standard photoshoots with a digital production process led by design decisions, aligning fabric movement, model pose, and emotional tone into a unified system.
Narrative environments are also developed digitally, allowing the team to test mood, styling, and poses. This preserves each garment’s visual and cultural value, enabling exploration of design possibilities without waste. The process protects rare materials and deepens storytelling, turning the digital space into a place of care rather than simple replacement.
Through this approach, Matteo demonstrates how brands can establish controlled digital identities, experiment freely, and develop campaigns before committing to physical production.
